ACC
ACC terms of use
Who provides ACC, what you can use it for and what responsibilities come with a declaration.
Reading guide
These explanations help you read the document. They do not replace its full wording or the recorded version of the acknowledgements you accepted.
- You are responsible for the information you declare and for having the rights needed to submit it.
- An ACC record makes the declaration and its status available for checking. It is not a decision about copyright ownership or the truth of the declaration.
- Applying for a certificate also gives ACC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the work's metadata and provenance data, including in public verification, partner APIs and commercial data products. Read the full data-use terms and acknowledgements before submitting.
Terms explained
- Hash / SHA-256
- A cryptographic fingerprint used to compare the exact data in a file or record. It does not recognise the same song in a different file or establish that a declaration is true.
- Email, KYC and attached documents
- Email confirmation shows control of an email address. KYC means identity checks. Recording the hash of an attached document does not, by itself, validate its signature or the person's authority.
- Timestamp confirmation
- A blockchain timestamp can establish that a recorded fingerprint existed before a confirmed time. A pending timestamp or inclusion in a group of records is not yet verified Bitcoin confirmation.

Operator
The ACC website and tools are operated by ART CLEARANCE CERTIFICATION Sp. z o.o., KRS 0001193252, NIP 9662211120, REGON 542695867, ul. Zlota 2/19, 15-016 Bialystok, Poland. Contact: info@artclearancecertification.org.
What ACC is
ACC is a declaration-first music provenance certification system. It lets an authorized declarant bind work metadata, an audio hash or asset hash, a HUMAN, SEMI-MIX or AI GEN declaration, certificate status and a public verification record.
What ACC is not
- ACC is not an AI detector.
- ACC is not a copyright court or authorship tribunal.
- ACC is not a copyright ownership registry.
- ACC does not provide legal clearance for a work.
- ACC does not guarantee that a declaration is materially true.
Current release status
The current service is available for validation, partner pilots and limited operational use. Features, schemas, certificate displays, API responses and operational procedures may change as ACC moves toward full production operations.
Acceptable use
- Use ACC only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not undermine the integrity of the standard.
- Do not submit knowingly false declarations or impersonate another person or organization.
- Do not submit data, metadata or evidence that you are not authorized to submit.
- Do not use ACC certification marks without a valid corresponding certificate.
- Do not attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, API limits or administrative restrictions.
Creator declarations
A declarant is responsible for the accuracy of the metadata and declaration they submit. ACC records the declaration and verification boundary, but does not independently determine authorship, copyrightability, ownership, infringement or legal clearance.
Public verification
ACC certificates may be exposed through public verification pages and partner-readable API responses. These may include certificate ID, category, status, work metadata, audio hash, declaration hash, identity assurance level and anchor status.
Work and provenance data license
By requesting an ACC certificate, the declarant grants ACC a worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free license to collect, store, analyze, aggregate, publish through verification, expose through partner APIs, create data products from and commercially use work metadata, ACC category, hashes, timestamps, status, ledger/anchor information and verification events connected with the certified work. This license is needed because ACC is designed as both a certification standard and a market data layer for work provenance.
Personal data boundary
ACC's data business concerns work and provenance data. ACC does not sell private account, contact or identity data as a standalone product. Personal data may still be processed where needed for certification, security, communication, legal claims, dispute handling and compliance.
Suspension and status changes
ACC may limit access, reject submissions, rate-limit traffic, correct metadata, mark certificates as disputed or revoked, or take other steps needed to protect the security and credibility of the ACC standard.

Historical HUMAN LEGACY records
HUMAN LEGACY is issued on ACC's initiative from referenced historical metadata and chronology. It is not a creator or rights-holder declaration, endorsement or a fourth declaration class. It does not inspect or bind a specific audio file. The public record identifies the source and limitations. Its timestamp dates ACC's statement, not the historical recording. Use only the distinct HUMAN LEGACY mark, not a HUMAN declaration mark.
