The declaration is the beginning of ACC proof.

General statement

The declarant submits a provenance declaration for a music recording and understands that ACC records the declaration, binds it to work metadata and an audio or asset hash, and exposes certificate status for verification.

Declarant statements

• The declarant is authorized to submit the work for ACC certification or acts with authorization.
• The submitted work metadata is accurate to the declarant's knowledge.
• The selected category reflects the declared role of human and AI contribution.
• The declarant understands that false declarations may result in disputed or revoked status.
• ACC may expose non-confidential verification metadata through public proof and ACC API.

HUMAN declaration

The declarant states that the material creative expression of the work was created by human author(s), and that generative AI did not produce material creative output presented as fully human-created expression.

SEMI-MIX declaration

The declarant states that AI tools or AI-generated outputs materially contributed to the creation process or final work, while human creative direction, input, selection, arrangement, editing or authorship remains material.

AI GEN declaration

The declarant states that the work, or a material part of it, was generated primarily by AI systems and is not presented as fully human-created material.

Verification boundary

ACC verifies declaration submission, timestamp, audio hash, declaration hash and certificate status. ACC does not independently detect AI, determine authorship or confirm copyright ownership.

Identity levels

• Level 1: email-based declaration and acceptance.
• Level 2: additional signed declaration evidence whose file metadata and hash are recorded by ACC.
