Origin is information, not a verdict

Human, mixed and AI-generated music deserve clear, neutral disclosure. Listeners and institutions should be able to make their own choices without ACC presenting one creative method as inherently better.

A named person takes responsibility

The person submitting a statement is responsible for its accuracy and for being authorized to submit it. ACC preserves the statement and its current status so others can check them. Cryptographic evidence makes changes to the record detectable; it cannot establish the truth of the statement or the rights to the recording.

A declaration can be questioned

A clear record shows what was declared, what was checked, what still awaits confirmation and how to report a concern. When a certificate's status changes, its earlier evidence remains distinguishable from the current status.
